Saint-Jacques Brigade

In 1955 the Saint Jacques brigade was founded.  The distance the Edmundston brigade needed to travel and the response time did not meet the Saint-Jacques residents requirements.  At that time the brigade was composed of 10 members.  Today, there are 24 members; 1 chief, 1 assistant chief, 3 captains, 1 lieutenant and 18 firefighters.  Added to these are many honorary members.
